UK iPhone users embracing data, executive says
Matthew Key, soon-to-be CEO of O2 in the UK, has suggested that British iPhone users are embracing the idea of the mobile Internet, with 60% of customers sending or receiving at least 25 megabytes data per month.
That’s in contrast to contract customers using other handsets, for which the figure is less than 2%.
“Here’s absolute proof that if you get the proposition right, customers will use data,” said Key.
